Job title: Inter-Array Grid Representative – Testing & Termination
Location: Saint Nazaire Offshore wind farm

Role Overview
The Inter-Array Cable Representative is responsible for overseeing and reporting all activities related to the testing and termination of inter-array cable during the replacement phase. The role ensures that all works are executed safely, in compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities
-Represent the Employer (PBG) on site for inter-array cable testing and termination activities
-Oversee and witness cable testing operations (MV cables testing, fiber optic testing) at offshore substations and wind turbine foundation
-Oversee and witness cable termination works at offshore substations and wind turbine foundation
-Ensure compliance with project specifications, method statements, and applicable standards and project's termination and testing procedure
-Review and approve acceptance and commissioning test results
-Communicate with IAG contractors and SNA teams
-Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with HSE requirements and offshore safety rules
-Identify, report, and follow up on non-conformities, punch list items, and corrective actions
-Participate in site meetings, daily reports, and progress reviews
-Support on the review of the as built documentation and final acceptance of inter-array cable systems
HSE Responsibilities
-Promote a strong safety culture offshore
-Ensure that contractors comply with HSE policies, permit-to-work systems, and risk assessments
-Stop work if unsafe conditions or practices are observed
Experience
-Proven experience in cable termination and testing activities for offshore wind projects
Job description
-Proven experience as Client Representative offshore
-Knowledge of offshore construction and commissioning processes
-A minimum of 5-10 years’ experience at a senior level within the offshore industry
-Familiarity with international standards (IEC, CIGRE, DNV, etc.)
-Previous experience of QA processes preferred

Skills & Competencies
-Certificate for 33kV NKT CB 36-630 (1250) T connector
-Understanding of HV/MV cable systems
-Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
-Good communication skills
-Proactive, detail-oriented, and quality-driven
-Ability to work in a demanding offshore environment and under tight schedules
-Safety-driven mindset with strong attention to detail
-Basic skills on MS office

Language Requirements
-Fluent in English (written and spoken)

•GWO First Aid
•GWO Manual Handling
•GWO Fire Awareness
•GWO WAH
•GWO Sea Survival
•GWO Boat Landing Transfer

2. Other Documents
•Valid Passport (with at least 1 year validity)
•A1 Form (when applicable for non-EU personnel)
•SIPSI Form (when applicable for non-EU personnel)
•Right to work in the EU/French work permit, if required (cost covered by Contractor)
•Offshore Medical

3. Electrical Accreditation

Training can be done online and must be valid on the day of joining
Additional training will be provided by the employer
