POSITION IN THE ORGANIZATION
Location: SURF EPCI Contractor office
Reporting to: Venus SURF Manager
MISSIONS
To be responsible for all Interface activities related to the Venus project, for the SURF scope
To supervise all interfaces exchanges between the SURF EPC and the other Contractors (SPS, FPSO, Drilling)
To manage all CPI to be delivered by other parties to SURF Contractor and SURF Contractor items to be delivered to other contractors, and ensure proper and timely handover of these items between the different contractors.
ACTIVITIES
To ensure adequate execution and supervision of all interfaces activities between SURF contractor and the other contractors
To follow-up all interface activities performed by SURF Contractor and ensure completeness and timely update of the interface register
To ensure timely issuance by SURF Contractor of interface deliverables and interface data to other parties
To ensure SURF Contractor compliance with the interface battery limit and the interface design data
To propose solutions and ensure resolution and timely close-out of technical interfaces between SURF Contractor and other contractors
To organize and follow-up technical workshops between SURF Contractor and other contractors
To highlight immediately any deviation and inadequate designs impacting SURF contractor or any other contractor
To ensure the adequate and timely preparation of SURF contractor items delivery to other contractors
To ensure proper handover of SURF contractor items to other parties
To ensure adequate and timely preparation and handover of CPIs delivered to SURF Contractor
To ensure timely mobilisation of other contractors personnel on SURF yards or SURF vessels
To set-up and manage the interface control system (New Prodom module) for the SURF pacakge
To support the Project Interface Manager and the SURF manager on interfaces and CPIs management
To support the SURF technical teams as and when necessary, and obtain their support on all interfaces and CPIs deliveries
To gather lessons learned and provide feedback to TotalEnergies entities when necessary
HSE ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Adhere to and promote Project HSE culture and Policies
Report anomalies, incidents, near misses
Demonstrate leadership in HSE behaviors, implementation and reporting
Shall comply with TotalEnergies' HSE programs (Golden Rules, Our lifes First…)
CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
The Venus field is an ultra‑deepwater project at roughly 3,000 m water depth, designed to produce 160,000 bbl./d of oil through two subsea production rings, and to re-inject produced gas through two dedicated gas injection lines. The development includes up to 38 subsea wells tied back to the FPSO, and a large subsea umbilical system.
International and multi-cultural environment.
Many suppliers locations, several fabrication sites worldwide and large fleet of installation vessels
Position permanently based at SURF EPCI Contractor office.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Project engineer with strong SURF (and/or SPS) technical experience
Experience in similar positions (years): 10 at same or equivalent position with strong experience in deepwater oil projects,
Experience with Total systems and specifications
Level / Diploma: Engineer
Languages: English mandatory, with good communication skills; ability to work in a multicultural environment.
