Role Overview
The PICOSS (Persan ln Charge of the Offshore Substation) is responsible for the safe coordination, control, and execution of all activities on the Offshore Substation.
The role holds overallauthorityforwork authorization (PTW), contractorcoordination, and safety compliance, ensuring that all operations are carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project procedures and offshore regulations.
The PICOSS also acts as Senior Authorised Persan (SAP - "Chargé de consignation") in accordance with NF C 18-510, supporting commissioning activities and electrica l operations up ta 33kV.
Key Responsibilities
OSS & Operations
Lead and coordinate all night-shift activities on the OSS Authorize work and manage contractor activities
Supervise multi-skilled teams (scaffolding, painting, cable installation &
termination, fiber-optic testing)
Optimize work sequencing, prevent clashes, and ensure timely completion Review RAMS, method statements, and documentation for compliance Plan work, report progress, and provide clear shift handovers
Prioritize equipment and material deliveries ta match work scope
  • Track outstanding tasks, quality issues, and inter-array cable test readiness Perform cargo operations and escalate technical issues if needed
End of shift handover report
Provide training for the use of the Davit crane.
SAP/ Electrical & Commissioning Duties
Prepare and follow switching schedules and LOTO procedures
ldentify isolation points and verify safe execution Energize/de-energize electrical equipment up to 33kV safely
Conduct pre- and post-energization inspections and basic maintenance Monitor, document, and report switching and commissioning activities Coordinate with Control Engineerfor energizations
Support commissioning tests and equipment preparation up to 33kV

HSE Responsibilities
ultimately accountablefor all HSE aspects on board of OSS Enforce the Permit to Work (PTW) system
Promote and maintain a strong offshore safety culture
Ensure all activities are performed in compliance with RAMS, risk assessments, and offshore safety rules
lntervene and stop work in case of unsafe conditions or non-compliance ensure that the appropriate arrangements are made for emergency response Act as the emergency response lead on the OSS during the shift
Report HSE issues on the HSE reporting tool (lntelex)
Experience
Strong background in switching operations of electrical equipment up to 33kV Proven experience working on Offshore Substations or similar offshore assets Strong understanding of work authorization systems and contractor coordination Experience managing multiple contractors and interfaces offshore Recommended 3 years' experience in wind industry
Recommended 1 year experience in similar position

Excellent coordination, communication, and planning abilities Safety-driven m indset with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage high-risk activities in an offshore environment
Calm and effective under pressure, particularly during night shifts or critical operations
Language Requirements
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
French language skills are highly recommended

Electrical Accreditation
Minimum requirementfor French electrical accreditation is H2(v) B2(v) HC BC BR (in BT and HTA) delivered bythe consultant's employer.
Training must bevalid on the day of joining and the accreditation shall be signed bythe consultant
The Consultant shall deliver an appointment letter for Chargé de Consignation role (SAP).
Additional training will be provided bythe employer
