B58 / Suriname Project
MISSIONS / SERVICE DIMENSIONS
The service holder will provide technical expertise to firm up the fluids, cement and waste technical and contractrual strategy for a 32 wells subsea development on Block 58 in Suriname.
The service holder will lead the technical part of the pertaining CFT and coordinate with other contractors as required (Rig contractor…).
The service holder will supervise drilling operations during execution phase.

ACTIVITIES
• HSE:
  • To promote safety culture within the project and its activities. Lead by exemplarity to have the team members and colleagues adhering and contributing.
- To ensure that safe and ethic working practices are carried out within the managed activities or interfacing with. To guarantee the compliance on activities.
  • With the spirit of One TOTALEnergies values, to establish and manage activities motivating counterparts and to work diligently to meet the targets of the Projects.
- Adopt and demonstrate exemplary behaviour regarding Company Ethics and “Code of Conduct” policy and promote the re-enforcement of the Anti-Corruption Program.
Prior to rig arrival
 Engineering
  • Lead necessary studies prior to prepare basis of Design for B58 Project. Present outcomes of study to Technical Review Meetings.
- Recommend new technologies to improve operations efficiency, reduce cost and decrease carbon footprint
  • Ensure that TotalEnergies drilling referential is respected throughout engineering. Highlight all gaps with referential and prepare derogations and associated mitigation measures.
- Dimension Liquid Mud Plant for B58 development operations
  • Investigate and promote sustainable technological solutions
- Identify and analyze operational risks, put in place mitigation measures
  • Review and sign off on all operational programs and sequences.
 Contractual
  • Maintains regular contact with service providers, with regular meetings to keep up to date with latest technologies developed
- investigate new technologies, assess added value and support their implementation when justified
  • In collaboration with TGP, prepare technical appendixes for Fluids, Cement and Waste management services tender
- Lead the CFT technical evaluation, analyze & clarify bids, prepare RTAs
  • Implement remote operations in contractual strategy
 Project delivery:
  • Ensure close collaboration with Logistics to ensure adequate design of Logistics base
- Ensure accurate definition of transportation requirements to necessary fluids and cement delivery to support operations
• During drilling and completion operations:
 Operations follow-up
  • Control and participate to the safe and efficient implementation of the drilling and completion programs
- Guarantee operational execution in accordance with TotalEnergies referential.
  • Prepare the programs for fluids, cements and treatment of discharge produced by to drilling / well operations
- Assist Fluids Supervisor during operational problems

- Plan all activities and requirements in liaison with the logistic services for timely delivery
  • Ensure correct invoicing, cost evaluation and update accordingly invoice tracking
- Actively prepare and participate in audits and service FCWM companies SQM.
 Personnel management
  • Guarantee adequate supervision on site
- Build strong team spirit among rig crew
  • Ensure up to date training status of rig supervisors
- Foster development of technical skills
 Performance drive
  • Control rig reporting accuracy. Validate reports before distribution.
- Contribute in process of evaluating and optimizing the activities of service contractors
  • Conduct technical and operational syntheses
- Highlight and implement opportunities for performance improvement
  • Participate in launching and realizing ad-hoc studies with head office to improve performance
- Propose technological innovations
  • Propose and write REX when applicable
The activity takes place in the context of the execution phase of a major project in Suriname. The Suriname GranMorgu is a multidisciplinary team that coordinates the project managed by TotalEnergies on the Deep and Shallow Water discoveries of offshore Suriname Block 58.
The technical challenges the Project will face are the reservoir development and management, FPSO, and subsea production/injection system.
The Suriname Team will develop the Project with the objectives of maximizing economic results by optimizing the reserves, and the schedule, reducing the costs and the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emission, while maintaining the technical quality of the installations, with high H3SE requirements and focus.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • At least 20 years' experience in Fluids & Cement operations, including 5 years minimum as superintendent
- Experience in Deepwater development; Full proficiency in DKD required
  • Experience in Exploration drilling, including experience of setting up local facilities (e.g. LMP) in remote location
- HPHT and NMWW drilling experience will be appreciated
  • Conversant with Fluids and Cement contracts and associated Tendering process
- Dynamism, high motivation, ability to convince, organized, leadership and analytical approach to solve challenges
  • Pragmatic approach, excelling at finding sound solutions under stress
- Ability to work on complex projects with numerous interfaces
  • Languages: Fluent in English, French will be appreciated
OTHER OBSERVATIONS
  • locally valid offshore survival certificate valid to work offshore (BOSIET + HUET + CA-EBS)
- IWCF or Wellcap certified (Supervisor / Subsea)
