Description

Duration: 2-years, rotational 6/2 (6 weeks on/2 weeks off), based on six (6) worked days per week, with eight (8) hours of work per day

1.Description of the SERVICES:
The scope of SERVICES includes:
•Provide expertise in day to day handling and lifting activities on site, which include categorizing
•lifts, hazard identifications and risk assessment, technical review (lifting procedures and organizations), selection of equipment/suitability of contractors’ equipment, toolbox talk, post-job debriefing, and assessment of completed job
•Promote safe handling & lifting operation referring to Total HSE policy CR EP LSO 043 and
•international standard
•Review and Approve complicated and complex lift plan and attend the lifts
•Oversight of pre-use inspections of forklifts, cranes and rigging equipment to be used in lifting
•operations
•Perform condition check and fitness for purpose on lifting appliances, CCUs, and evaluate their utilization on site (in coordination with Inspections Department)
•Provide lifting and handling expertise advice

2.Specific Activities:
The designated CONTRACTOR’s PERSONNEL will be required to:
Road Transportation:
•Conduct random inspection of Affiliate Road Transportation contractor to ensure compliance with Total referential and Safety of Road Transport operations between yards and berths

Reporting:
•Ensure reporting of all unsafe work conditions and unsafe work practices and correct immediately
•Track and submit Shorebase & Associated Yards HSE KPI to Affiliate HQ HSE

Audits / Methods:
•Assess handling & lifting organization in the affiliate
•Conduct annual reviews in handling and lifting
•Participate in all handling and lifting audits in affiliate
•Periodically review and re-issue generic lift plans
•Develop and maintain up to date subsidiary’s handling and lifting procedures/instructions and ensure they are well understood and applied

Budget/Costs:
•Review current system and standard of equipment’s maintenance with regards to cost effectiveness

Management:
•Assess competences and provide proposal of improvement for personnel involved in handling and lifting operations
•Participate in the development of training plan for users up to required competence
•Ensure coaching and mentoring for personnel involved in handling and lifting operations on site
