The VENUS deep offshore Project is a key project for TotalEnergies as the first Oil & Gas facilities to be installed in Namibian waters with 3,000 m water depth and uncommon reservoir characteristics with a CAPEX > 10 BUSD. 38 wells to be drilled and completed (19 OP and 19 GI) with a DRILLEX > 3 BUSD; out of ~2/3 to be ready before First Oil date.
The Venus Project will be developed with the objectives to maximize economical results by optimizing the reserves, the schedule, reducing the costs and the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emission, while maintaining the technical quality of the installations, with high H3SE requirements and focus.
Interaction with people across different locations during project execution (from CTR engineering office to CTR yards, France and Namibia).


MISSIONS
The SPS Lead Document Controller ensures the integrity, traceability, and accessibility of all project documentation throughout the EPSCC phases of the Subsea Production System package. Key missions include:
•Define and implement the document management process for the SPS Work Package in alignment with Company standards, project procedures and specifications, and contractual requirements
•Supervise and coordinate a team of four Document Controllers to ensure consistency and quality across all documentation workflows
•Supervise the recording and issuance of the correspondences.
•Maintain the Document Management System (DMS) and ensure its proper configuration, usage, and evolution throughout the project lifecycle
•Follow-up the that the completion of the SPS documentation (aka “final documentation”) and any delivery to Field Operations as guided by the Project Lead Document Controller
•Act as the primary point of contact for all documentation-related topics between Company and SPS contractors
•To report timely to the management highlighting any encountered area of concern.
•Manage the internal documentation, if any.
•Assist in the management of the package SharePoint (rights etc.) ACTIVITIES The SPS Lead Document Controller is expected to perform the following activities:
• Define and organize the SPS DMS, including workflows for document issuance, review, approval, correspondence and archiving
• Supervise the monitoring and control of the documentation from contractors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with numbering, formatting, and metadata standards
• Performs audits on documentation topics
• Performs regular quality checks of the DMS
• Coordinate with the Schedule Engineers to align document production with project timelines and reporting needs
• Prepare the handover packages for Field Operations and ensure proper archiving of project documentation, in coordination with the Project Lead Document Controller
• Organize, supervise, control and support the Document Controllers in the performance of their duties during the course of the Project.
• Participate in the implementation of the EDMS at Contractors’ premises, setting-up and training on rules and procedures.
• Ensure that the continuation of document control service during the absence of one or several Document Controllers, eventually between Packages
• Assist in the trouble shooting of the EDMS
• Provide weekly KPI or other statistics as requested by the SPS or project management.

HSE ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
▪Comply with Project HSE Site Instructions and Policies.
▪Report HSE anomalies or deficiencies using the anomaly system.
▪Ensure office security and safety is maintained and report deficiencies to HSE.
▪Report anomalies, incidents, near misses to HSE.
▪Carry out HSE inspections and audits as required by HSE.
▪Regularly attend Project HSE meetings, training, audits and inspections.
▪Provide feedback on HSE conditions, actively promote HSE and safe working practices. CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
▪The TotalEnergies Venus Project - SPS will operate in ultra-deepwater at roughly 3,000 m and is designed to process 160,000 bbl./d of oil with advanced systems to manage large volumes of associated gas, which will be re-injected to maintain reservoir pressure. The unit will be permanently spread-moored using a 16-line mooring system, engineered to ensure station-keeping in relatively harsh Atlantic conditions. The development includes up to 40 subsea wells tied back to the SURF via the subsea architecture. International and multi-cultural environment.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
▪Strong knowledge of document management systems and techniques, preferably in oil & gas engineering and construction environments
▪Minimum 10 years of experience in document control, including leadership roles on large-scale industrial projects
▪Proficiency in electronic document management platforms, collaborative tools and Office tools.
▪Proficiency in English (French is a plus).
▪Rigorous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective communication abilities.
