    Description

    Client is an oil and gas exploration and production company listed on the regulated market of Euronext Paris specializing in the production of hydrocarbons. It manages corporate, environmental, and social risks. Within Tanzania, the Mnazi Bay & Msimbati gas fields have been on-stream and continuously producing since 2006 making Mnazi Bay a significant contributor to the gas supply for power in Tanzania.
    Job Scope
    ·This position’s main objectives are to ensure a safe and efficient running of Gas production related operations, which include subsurface, well performance, well interventions (workovers, slick/wireline), surface/process installations, equipments maintenance and integrity.
    ·This position demands a strong technical/project background, with at least 5 years of experience in varied Oil&Gas environments.
    ·The Project Manager is based in the office of Dar Es Salaam with a team of 2/3 engineers, and the supply chain/logistics team.
    ·He/She needs a strong hands-on capacity to work in autonomy, travels to the Gas production fields on a frequent basis (expected 30% of the time).

    Responsibilities
    ·Participate to delivering the company’s EHSS objectives
    ·Manage all current and future technical projects (engineering, economic calculations, tenders, selection, implementation, commissioning, start-up)
    ·Manage integrity (including inspections, intelligent piggings, etc…)
    ·Ensure maximized wells/process/surface equipment availabilities
    ·Manage maintenance (preventive, curative)
    ·Support fields’ production and maintenance teams whenever required
    ·Coordinate with the supply chain

    Detailed Tasks & Objectives:
    Management: In charge of the Production Superintendent activities with the Field Manager
    Reporting: Manage the production reporting (Daily, weekly, monthly, yearly)
    Prepare the report template when needed
    Report to regulators when needed
    Prepare technical meeting ppt for JV partners
    Reserves certification: Keep a reservoir model updated
    Production forecast
    Reserve calculation
    Discussion with G&G team in Paris
    Budget: Participate in budget preparation
    Surface network: Model the surface network
    Analyse the pressure drop
    Plan operations to remove bottle necking (choke upgrade, …)
    Compression project: Participate in compression project
    Water disposal: Make sure the production water can be disposed (new process to be put in place)
    Prepare ppt
    Condensate production: Tank level monitoring at Mnazi Bay site and TPDC Madimba
    Tank unloading planning
    Marketing
    Bid procedure to potential buyers
    Invoicing
    Operation planning, communications to TPCD and EWURA (regulator)
    Get Volume certified by a certification company
    Reporting to TPDC and regulators
    Operations: Schedule, organize, coordinate and participate to key operations on site
    Project management: Supervise the project team to execute the projects in timely manner and cost efficient
    Maintenance: Follow the maintenance program
    Inspection: Follow the Inspection program
    HSE: Make sure that the operations follow the HSE standards

    Qualifications
    • Must possess a tertiary education in Petroleum / Chemical Engineering/ Oil and Gas
    • Possess a minimum of 5 to 7 years of working experience in the upstream oil & gas industry.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficient with Office applications or related software.
    • Possess willingness and ability to frequently work and travel to remote sites.
