JOB TITLE: VENUS SURF FLOW ASSURANCE LEAD
POSITION IN THE ORGANIZATION
Location: SURF EPCI Contractor office
Reporting to: Venus SURF Technical Manager
MISSIONS
To be responsible for all flow assurance activities related to the Venus project, in particular for the subsea scope (SURF and SPS)
To supervise all flow assurance work performed by the parties involved in the project: third party engineering contractor(s), SURF EPC Contractor and SPS EPFS Contractor
To support and provide necessary inputs to other parties within the Project: other SURF team members (Riser Lead, Flowline lead, etc…), SPS team, FPSO team and Field Operation team
ACTIVITIES
To Ensure adequate execution and supervision of all Flow Assurance studies
To follow-up flow assurance work performed by third party engineering contractor(s), SURF EPC Contractor and SPS EPFS Contractor prior and during the execution phase of the project
To ensure timely issuance of all Flow Assurance deliverables by other parties or internally
To ensure all flow assurance studies comply with COMPANY’s requirements and Project specifications
To highlight immediately any deviation and inadequate designs and outcomes of studies
To perform studies, analyses and verifications, as well as Olga simulation (or other internal tools) as and when required
To interface and provide necessary inputs and timely and adequate Flow Assurance assistance to the FPSO and Field Operation teams when required
To support the SURF and SPS technical teams
To support as and when required the SURF and SPS Technical managers and SURF and SPS package managers
To gather lessons learned and provide feedback to TotalEnergies entities when necessary
To ensure confidentiality of all the documentation related to Quality Management (whatever its support)
To prepare and coordinate the various ‘lessons learnt’ sessions / workshops / debriefing of the Project in relation with TotalEnergies headquarter.
HSE ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Adhere to and promote Project HSE culture and Policies.
Report anomalies, incidents, near misses
Demonstrate leadership in HSE behaviors, implementation and reporting.
Shall comply with TotalEnergies' HSE programs (Golden Rules, Our Life First,…)
CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
The Venus field is an ultra‑deepwater project at roughly 3,000 m water depth, designed to produce 160,000 bbl./d of oil through two subsea production rings, and to re-inject produced gas through two dedicated gas injection lines. The development includes up to 38 subsea wells tied back to an FPSO, and a large subsea umbilical system.
International and multi-cultural environment.
Position permanently based at SURF EPCI Contractor office.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Flow assurance engineer with strong Olga experience.
Experience in similar positions (years): 10 at same or equivalent position with strong experience in deepwater oil projects, high GOR fluid content, familiar with SURF and SPS flow assurance studies, as well as flow assurance field operation challenges in deepwater environment
Experience with Total systems and specifications
Level / Diploma: Engineer
Languages: English mandatory, with good communication skills; ability to work in a multicultural environment.
