Description
• Contract Duration: 1–2 months (short-term contract only)

As an Instrumentation Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the reliability, performance, and proper functioning of instrumentation systems within the Management / Support field. You will be directly integrated into the technical support structure and will contribute to the successful execution of operational activities.
Your main responsibilities will be:
• Check details of contract instrumentation and control scope of work
• Prepare, review and approve instrument design documents and drawings (instrument index, datasheets, loop diagrams, hook-up drawings, cable schedules
• Perform instrument sizing and calculations (control valves, relief valves, flow elements, level and pressure instruments, etc.)
• Review P&IDs and support the definition of control and shutdown philosophy with the process team
• Prepare technical specifications and requisitions for procurement (field instruments, analyzers, control valves, PLC / DCS / ESD panels, junction boxes, etc.)
• Prepare technical vendor evaluation base on Client requirement and codes.
• Evaluate vendor bids and perform technical bid evaluations (TBE)
• Review vendor documents, drawings and certificates for instrumentation and control packages
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (IEC, ISA, API, hazardous area requirements)
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (process, piping, electrical, procurement, QA/QC)
• Follow company procedures as defined in the QA/QC Manual
• Support fabrication, inspection, and testing activities (FAT, SAT, inspections, loop checks, calibration)
• Provide technical support during construction, installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning phases
• Prepare any work procedures that are deemed necessary for instrumentation and control works.
• Review and resolve technical queries (TQs), NCRs, and deviations
• Ensure proper documentation and data management throughout the project lifecycle
• Prepare notice at change (NOC) to fabricator via Engineering Manager.
• Assist Business development to provide documents for bidding and offers.
Requirement:
• Bachelor’s degree in instrumentation, control, electrical or related engineering
• Minimum 7 years of experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or EPC projects for Instrumentation and Control
• Strong knowledge of international design codes and standards (IEC, ISA, API)
• Experience in vendor management and technical bid evaluations
• Familiar with inspection and testing requirements (FAT, SAT, loop check, calibration)
