Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced electrician responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and control panels within the company. This role ensures the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all electrical maintenance while minimizing downtime and complying with all safety and electrical standards.

Responsibilities & Tasks
Key responsibilities:
·Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical equipment, machinery, motors, control panels, sensors, and instrumentation.
·Perform preventive maintenance activities according to the maintenance schedule and standard operating procedures.
·Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and restore equipment to normal operating condition with minimal downtime.
·Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and equipment manuals.
·Diagnose electrical faults using appropriate testing instruments such as multimeters, insulation testers, and clamp meters.
·Inspect electrical installations for safety, compliance, and potential failure risks.
·Ensure all electrical work complies with company safety procedures and applicable electrical standards.
·Maintain electrical panels in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
·Report equipment failures, recurring faults, and improvement opportunities to the Maintenance Lead.
·Assist in the installation, commissioning, and modification of new equipment and electrical systems.
·Ensure proper lockout procedures are followed before carrying out maintenance activities.
·Maintain accurate maintenance records, job cards, inspection reports, and spare parts usage within the maintenance management system.
·Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
·Maintain good housekeeping standards in workshops, electrical rooms, and work areas.
·Work collaboratively with production operators, mechanics, and other maintenance personnel to ensure efficient plant operation.
·Learn the production process and support the production team where necessary

Professional expertise
·Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma, preferably in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
·At least 2-3 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in the coffee processing
·industry.
·Experience with coffee processes such as cleaning grading, and color sorting are highly desirable.
·Ability to use computer applications such as MS word and excel.
