Tilenga Site Training Coordinator
• Position will be rotational, working with B2B, maybe initially based in Kampala, Uganda depending on project status.
Depending on Project status, first batch of trainees may return to UPIK following their On Job Orientation and OLEUM training.
During this phase, frequent travel and stay at Uganda training facilities is required – UPIK, located 200 km from Kampala.
• Position will then transition to Tilenga site 18 months before the first Oil.
• Performing a primary role in the training of Production Operators both in theory and practical setting in classroom and on site.
• Training shall cover CPF functionalities and activities, as well as Wellpad functionalities and activities.
• The position will be supported by Affiliate Training department to ensure proper training material and plans are in place for the teams

Reporting line in organization Site Manager(OIM).

Activities
Training in UPIK
• Organize further orientation / induction sessions based on Mandatory trainings requirement (iso “Safepass” trainings: Golden Rules / OneMaestro / Work at Height, Confined Space / Excavation / Lifting fundamentals / Cybersecurity / CFR / Inhibitions / DGS / Electrical Isolations / Process Isolations / Technological Risks).

Site On Job Training
• Develop detailed On Job Training program (including preparation of all required supports) for FOPS site operations teams with both technical theoretical sessions and hands-on sessions on Tilenga sites for Control Room Operators, CPF Field Operators and Wellpad Operators
• Coordinate with Commissioning site leader and Production Superintendent to define a program of activities on which OJ Trainees will be involved, such as:

• Participation to Operational Test Procedures

- Involvement in System Punch listing

• Witnessing of Leak tests

- System line walk down
• In liaise with Production supervisors, accompany the OJ Trainees in the preparation of Pre-start check lists.
• Train and coach OJ Trainees on PTW system, including on their leading role during toolbox talks, PTW opening and closing.
• Train teams how to perform proficient and effective site rounds, identifying key points to focus upon
• Train and coach Field operators on their role as Process Isolation authority
• In liaise with Production supervisors, assist the OJT trainees in the preparation of operating procedures.
• Accompany Field operators in the implementation of operating procedures on site, including chemical transfer and pigging operations.
• Perform audits of operating procedures
• In liaise with Control Room Leader, develop a training program on OTS.
• Perform weekly assessment of new operations personnel, written report to Prod. Supt / RSES
• Share monthly meeting status report for training program progress.

Context and environment
There is no equivalent project of such an industrial drilling magnitude in a remote and sensitive area within the Company today.
The Tilenga oilfields are partly situated in a protected National Park, partly beneath the river Nile wetlands area, and within densely populated area in a rural and remote part of Uganda. Activities exposed to the risk of major incidents with severe potential consequences due to local environment and important presence of NGO’s. Factory Drilling with a well delivered every 4 days using 3 drilling rigs simultaneously will necessitate standardization of equipment and procedures, strict enforcement of Drilling & Well instructions, safe and efficient logistic management on site. The project is focused on delivering the lowest possible cost, which requires challenging TotalEnergies design concepts as well as substantially challenging the TotalEnergies referential.
Heavy and waxy oils will be produced from 29 well pads, (with 9 located in a national park) and treated in a Production Center of 200,000bopd oil capacity and 650,000 bwpd of water treatment capacity.
Reservoir pressure maintenance is ensured either by water injection and by polymer water injection depending on the reservoir’s characteristics.
The project also includes an extended interconnecting network with temperature preservation. LPG extraction, storage and tankers loading facilities are part of the CPF facilities.
Multicultural environment: Contractors are anticipated to be located in various parts of the world. Ugandan rules and regulations, administrative requirements and technical authorizations as well as international codes for onshore plant will apply.
Due to staggered development of wellpads and considering sensitive operation of Electric Submersible Pumps for Production wells, it is expected that SIMOPS (Operations vs Construction, Operations versus Drilling - Workover) will occur frequently on Wellpads.
Field operators as well as Control Room Operators will all be without Oil & Gas previous experience.
They will all have followed a dedicated training program of approx. 2 years, consisting of 6 months of common core courses (covering both academic knowledge and introduction to Oil & Gas specificities), followed by 6 months of specialization courses (Production, Maintenance Meca / Instrum / Elec), followed by 4 months of On Job Orientation on live plant, before being mobilized to Tilenga site during commissioning phase for On Job Training.

Accountabilities
 Efficient operations, acting in the best interest of TEPU at all times in the spirit of the TotalEnergies behaviour skills (Boldness/Listening/Mutual support/Cross functionality).
 Under supervision of the Production Superintendent, ensure compliance with Statutory and Company HSE standard and procedures related to his field of activities.
 To accompany and coach Field Operators in their everyday activities to embed a strong Oil & Gas FOPS / HSE culture within the team.

Qualifications/Experience required
Qualification:
Diploma of Higher Education or BTCE. Education on operational safety, production operations, well operations;

Experience and skills:
 Professional experience of at least 10 years in Oil and Gas operations
 Technical skills in O&G, including well operations and SIMOPS operations
 Knowledge of TotalEnergies HSE Safety Rules, SIMOPS, PTW System, or equivalent in Oil & Gas industry.
 Fluent in English (>3.5).
 Good communication skills.
 Adaptability and ability to work in an international environment.
