Description

Duration: 3-years
rotational 4/4 (4 weeks on/4 weeks off)
based on seven (7) worked days per week, with eight (8) hours of work per day
English-speaking working environment

SERVICES Location: The SERVICES shall be performed in Paramaribo, Suriname, at COMPANY’s logistics base.

Description of the SERVICES:
•Managing Quay/Jetty/Wharf operations at the Base, including all operations for B58 GranMorgu Project Development and Production Phases, as well as any Exploration and Appraisal activities on multiple blocks.
•Within the framework assigned to the job holder, he/she is the focal point for any quay/jetty/wharf movements.
•Block 58 Development program, 2 drill ships for est. 42 months – Up to 6 x PSVs, 1 x AHTS and 2 x Installation vessels.
•Coordinate work with third party Contractors at Logistics base (SPS package, Tubular yard, Well Services, etc.).
•Liaising with APLO (Authorized Person for Lifting Operations) to constantly assess quay/jetty/wharf personnel, in terms of experience, and training

2.Specific Activities:
The designated CONTRACTOR’s PERSONNEL will be required to:

➢HSE
oDemonstrate and maintain personal commitment to, and knowledge of, COMPANY HSE Policy, and ensure compliance with all applicable statutory requirements, COMPANY standards and site rules.
oContinuously verify, implement and enforce applicable safety procedures and rules for specific tasks, including material handling, transit, temporary storage, buffer zones and disposal activities.
oConduct toolbox talks and safety greenlights, and instruct workers on safe and environmentally responsible work practices and methods.
oVerify and maintain conformity of all inbound and outbound lifting gears in strict compliance with the Affiliate’s Lifting Management System (LMS).
oEnsure that hazardous materials and waste are handled, stored, transported and disposed of in a safe and compliant manner, in accordance with COMPANY waste and chemical management plans and applicable local regulations.
oImmediately stop, report through the applicable observation card process, and arrange correction of any unsafe act, unsafe condition or non-compliance identified at the workplace.
oUnderstand, perform and support drills required under the Site Specific Oil Response Plan for potential discharges during bunkering operations, including fuel, dry bulk and wet bulk, and lead Man Overboard (MOB) drills in coordination with KPF and the Marine Department.
oParticipate in Permit to Work meetings and act as Performing Authority when required by the applicable work process.
oPromote and apply the waste management “5 R principles” hierarchy: Reduce, Recover, Reuse, Recycle and Residue disposal.
oExercise the authority to stop any quayside operation presenting an immediate HSE risk or any non-compliance with TEPSR requirements.

➢Operational
oLiaise with vessel Masters to ensure safe and efficient loading and unloading activities for both upper deck cargoes and bunkering cargoes.
oManage berthing, loading and backloading of vessels in accordance with COMPANY requirements and applicable site procedures.
oCoordinate logistics appliances and equipment to ensure safe and timely delivery to the relevant end users.
oCoordinate and control simultaneous operations (SIMOPS) at the quayside and vessel interface.
Inform and coordinate with KPF Shipping, Security and Planning to align and fine-tune berthing activities at TEPSR dedicated berths and ad-hoc berths.
oLiaise with the relevant KPF entities to maintain the vessel lookahead planning up to date.
oCheck and verify all required vessel loadout documentation, including manifests in Kabal, MSDS, delivery notes, dangerous goods declarations, Certificates of Conformance and any required technical information.
oEnsure accurate record keeping of all material movements and complete all required recordings in a timely manner.
oEnsure safe and efficient berth operations, including readiness of personnel, equipment and work areas for vessel arrival and departure.
oAllocate competent resources, including riggers, banksmen and stevedores, and verify readiness of the required equipment.
oEnsure that packaging, securing and sea-fastening are performed in accordance with IMDG/IMO requirements and COMPANY shipping instructions.
oEnsure proper transfer of received materials to the warehouse team for stock materials and to the relevant end users, including Service Companies, for non-stock materials.
oLead pre-loadout meetings and post-operations reviews to resolve operational issues and capture lessons learned.
