| The East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) project is a Midstream development located across Uganda and Tanzania that includes a nearshore Marine Storage and Export Terminal (MST). Once completed, the EACOP Company will operate the East African Crude Oil Pipeline, a 1,443 km long, electrically heated crude oil export pipeline that transports oil from Kabaale - Hoima in Uganda, to the Chongoleani Peninsula near Tanga Port in Tanzania for crude export to the international markets. |

| ·The MST CCR Supervisor Day/Night oversees daily operations of the central control room, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient plant and field performance. ·Monitors process parameters, equipment status, and alarm systems, directing operators in responding to abnormal conditions. ·Coordinates with maintenance, operations, and safety teams to manage workflows, shutdowns, and emergency situations. ·Ensures compliance with operating procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. ·Provides leadership, training, and performance oversight for control room personnel. ·Rotation: 2 people for one position working 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off (12 hours/day) |
| Duties & Responsibilities |
| In accordance with the policies and procedures in place in EACOP, The MST CCR Supervisor Day/Night is responsible to: ØOperational Oversight: . Supervise and direct all control room activities to ensure safe and efficient operations . Continuously monitor process parameters, SCADA and DCS systems, alarms, and equipment performance. . Coordinate plant start-ups, shutdowns, and transitions in collaboration with Pump Stations. ØSafety and Compliance: . Enforce adherence to EACOP safety policies, PTW (Permit to Work), and regulatory requirements . Lead and support emergency response actions from the control room during incidents . Conduct safety briefings, hazard identification, and risk assessments as needed ØCommunication and Coordination: . Maintain constant communication with panel operators, pump stations (Operations Leads), maintenance teams, and management. . Facilitate coordination during maintenance activities, isolations, and equipment troubleshooting. . Provide clear operational instructions and ensure accurate handover between shifts ØPerformance Monitoring and Reporting: . Track and analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, or potential issues. . Prepare daily operations reports, incident logs, and system performance summaries. . Recommend improvements to enhance system reliability and operational efficiency ØLeadership and Team Development: . Mentor, support, and evaluate panel operators to ensure competency and readiness. . Manage shift scheduling and ensure adequate staffing. .Maintain accurate operational logs, shift handover notes, and procedure updates |

| Qualifications / Experience Required: |
| Academic Qualifications: ·Bachelor’s degree or relevant technical diploma (Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline preferred). Experience Required: ·Minimum of 12 years’ experience in oil & gas plant operations, with at least 5 years in a panel operator role or as shift supervisor. ·Experience in plant operations, such as production, gas processing, refining, or utilities. ·Proven experience handling start-ups, shutdowns, emergency situations, and process upsets. ·Demonstrated ability to supervise teams, coordinate multi-disciplinary operations, and manage shift activities. ·Experience working with Permit to Work systems, safety procedures (HSE) ·Familiarity with troubleshooting instrumentation, mechanical, or process-related issues (coordination level) |
