Missions / Service Dimensions
• The service holder will be in charge of the SPS Control System activities for Absheron Project including engineering, procurement, fabrication, testing, delivery and assistance to installation.
• Control System areas cover: SPS Subsea Control System, SPS Subsea Distribution and interfaces with EPS brownfield and the Automated Subsea Pig Launcher (ASPL).
• Adopt and demonstrate exemplary behaviour regarding HSE policies and procedures, implementing H3SE rules and requirements within the relevant area of responsibility and comply with HSE training requirements.
• Adopt and demonstrate exemplary behaviour regarding Company Ethics and “Code of Conduct” policy and promote the reinforcement of the Anti-Corruption Program.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure that HSE&Q issues are correctly handled in all SPS Control System technical documentation. Raise comments, highlight deviations, unacceptable or unjustified design choices that could affect SPS Controls equipment during fabrication, installation, production.
• Be informed of SPS related Company Rules and Specifications (CR’s/GS’s), international norms and standards, extracting all the applicable requirements for the Absheron SPS package
• Coordinate and prepare technical specifications for the SPS Subsea Equipment Integration in the EPS control room.
• Coordinate and prepare technical specifications for SPS ESD/SD Logic and SPS Software to be interfaced with the EPS ESD and ICSS System
• Manage the engineering of the integration of SPS equipment into SURF and ASPL structures.
• Coordinate and Supervise SPS Mimics and HMI and relevant integration on the EPS ICSS system
• Define and Specify SPS Control/ICSS network and relevant interface node/interface link
• Define Project Execution Test Campaign to debug and validate SPS Subsea Control System Interface with the EPS ICSS System and the ASPL system
• Ensure that all engineering, fabrication, construction, testing, qualification pre-commissioning and commissioning aspects are suitably addressed during the different engineering phases by timely review (or having reviewed) and validation of the relevant SPS Controls documentation issued by Contractor(s) (technical documentation / queries / derogation requests).
• Review and comment on contractor documentation taking into account contract reference document. Prepare responses to all technical requests from the Contractor.
• Review SPS Contractor’s power and communications analysis and hydraulic analysis to ensure system operability.
• Define testing requirements of existing brownfield facilities to provide assurance on condition of the existing system.
• Manage interface Control issues related to the discipline in close cooperation with SPS Technical Lead and Interface Lead
• Review qualification procedures and follow-up of any qualification tests in close cooperation with TQP engineer.
• Follow up Controls contractor sub-supplier control process, participate in sub-supplier audits and, in particular, ensure that project requirements have been properly transmitted to the sub-suppliers and that they have been understood.
• During construction, ensure the responsibility for the right supervision and control of the fabrication and testing of SPS Controls equipment spread over several fabrication yards, ensuring that QA/QC and H3SE project policies and requirements are duly implemented, and controlling Contractors’ achievements in accordance with contractual requirements in all areas.
• Perform company inspections as per the ITPs and ensure the supervision and control of:
o the follow-up of testing and qualification activities (FAT, EFAT, SIT, etc) performed by Contractor(s)
o the pre-commissioning, the commissioning of all SPS equipment and the whole preparation of the offshore installation, including the hand-over of such equipment to other package or Contractor(s) for installation
• Participate in project reviews as required by TotalEnergies referential (PR, DER, CSPP...).
• Ensure confidentiality of all the SPS documentation produced (whatever its support)
• Assist in defining and overseeing implementation and testing of HQ cybersecurity solutions on CTR workstations
• Gather ‘lessons learnt’ and provide feedback to other TotalEnergies E&P entities as required and participate in Project close-out activities / report.

Context and Environment
The Absheron Conventional Gas & Condensates field is located offshore Azerbaijan Republic in the Caspian Sea in 500 meters depth, at about 100km southeast of Baku, 25km north-east of Shah Deniz field and 34km south of Oil Rocks production and processing facilities. The offshore subsea gas pipeline will be tied into the greenfield onshore Central Processing Facility (CPF) for Gas Condensate separation and compression. The onshore CPF facility has been designed for a capacity of 450 MMscfd of gas and 38,000 barrels per day of condensate.
The project aims at supplying natural gas for both domestic market and for international export market via the South Caucasus Pipeline (SCP). Condensate is routed to Sangachal Terminal for stabilization.

• Location: UK based initially (Bristol, Nailsea), with travel to other locations globally. Re-location to Baku for installation phase in 2028.

Qualifications/Experience required
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in Oil & Gas, with at least 10 years in subsea production systems (SPS)
• Proven experience in Subsea controls roles within major EPC or EPCI projects
• Strong knowledge of subsea equipment (trees, manifolds, umbilicals, control systems)
• Strong understanding of international codes and standards (API, ISO, DNV)
• Experience with TotalEnergies an advantage
• Experience with BH an advantage
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
