MISSIONS / SERVICE DIMENSIONS
The service holder will be responsible for supporting the Project H3SEQ Manager in implementing the Project Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure performance of activities lead by the project and provided by the project’s contractors for the Venus project. The service is highly transverse, with numerous interactions among which:
Internal Project: 10 to 30 people, working closely with the Project’s packages and Company’s entities;
External (Contractors, TEEPNA affiliate): about 30 people This service includes but is not limited to:
Lead Venus Quality Assurance by developing, implementing, and maintaining a robust Quality Management System (QMS), including procedures, dashboards and reporting tools, in coordination with all Venus Managers, and Package Quality leads.
Management of transverse QA/QC processes and tools (i.e. NCR, Third Parties Inspections…)
Coordinate Quality activities across all packages (SURF, SPS, FPSO, O&M, D&W, and Offloading), ensuring efficient and fruitful transverse compliance, issue identification, and timely close-out of actions, including audits.
Drive Performance Improvement by mapping processes, identifying inefficiencies, defining KPIs, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. The Service Provider will support the H3SEQ Manager, and SURF, SPS and FPSO Quality leads.
ACTIVITIES
HSE:
Implementation of HSE rules and requirements within the area of responsibility.
Ensure that HSE requirements are systematically considered within the Quality management process. Quality assurance:
Coordinate the processes and tools for TPI (Third Party Inspection), NCR (Non-Conformity Report) … at Venus level and ensure their adequation and robustness at package level.
Manage, in coordination with Packages, quality processes and tools (NCR, TPI) to manage Venus QA/QC
Ensure that Quality assurance within all packages is handled correctly.
Organize periodic Quality review/identification meetings with Venus Packages.
Responsible to identify, log, progress and close out all Quality matters impacting the Project in accordance with COMPANY specifications.
Ensure that Actions related to Quality assurance are properly delt with, that responses and comments are delivered on time and addressing adequately the identify Risk.
Ensure that other Package team members are aware of relevant Quality assurance.
Work closely with all other team members and contractor counterparts to ensure correct information is transmitted and fully aligned.
Participate in the redaction of the close out report and gather lessons learnt. Performance Management
Maximize the value of the Project by promoting a Performance culture for consistent one-team behaviors and challenge of referential.
Follow and manage all actions related to Quality Assurance to ensure an efficient Project execution.
Promote LEAN initiatives and an integrated team approach for Packages Quality.
CONTEXT & ENVIRONMENT
The VENUS deep offshore Project is a key project for Total as the first Oil & Gas facilities to be installed in Namibian waters with 3,000 m water depth and uncommon reservoir characteristics with a CAPEX > 10 BUSD. 38 wells to be drilled and completed (19 OP and 19 GI) with a DRILLEX > 3 BUSD; out of ~2/3 to be ready before First Oil date. The Venus Project will be developed with the objectives to maximize economical results by optimizing the reserves, the schedule, reducing the costs and the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emission, while maintaining the technical quality of the installations, with high H3SE requirements and focus. Interaction with people across different locations during project execution (from CTR engineering office to CTR yards, France and Namibia)
