OPERATIONS.
Prepare start-up operating procedures
Participate actively in Commissioning activities
Train and Coach junior operators throughout the commissioning activities and further during start-up of the plant to help them reach required experience to operate CPF.
Start-up CPF after commissioning, adjust process related to in-field operator.
Contribute that daily Operations are performed in accordance with the Health Safety and Environment legislation and in compliance with the work management system.
The Production Operator is the OWNER of CPF, thus responsible for monitoring and operating process and utility equipment and to ensure optimized operation implementing adjustments, in close cooperation and communication with SPVs and engineers.
Take ownership of the installations and keep equipment in proper and safe condition.
Context and environment
There is no equivalent project of such an industrial drilling magnitude in a remote and sensitive area within the Group today. The Tilenga oilfields are partly situated in a protected National Park, partly beneath the river Nile wetlands area, and within densely populated area in a rural and remote part of Uganda. Activities exposed to the risk of major incidents with severe potential consequences due to local environment and important presence of NGOs. Factory Drilling with a well delivered every 4 days using 3 drilling rigs simultaneously will necessitate standardization of equipment and procedures, strict enforcement of Drilling & Well instructions, safe and efficient logistic management on site. The project is focused on delivering the lowest possible cost, which requires challenging TOTAL design concepts as well as substantially challenging the TOTAL referential.Multicultural environment: Contractors are anticipated to be in various parts of the world. Ugandan rules and regulations, administrative requirements and technical authorizations as well as international codes for onshore plant will apply. The project FID was signed on Q1-2022 with the start of drilling operations on Q2 2022 and a Ready For Start-up (RFSU) target of July 2026.
