Technical
o Review drilling and completion programs prepared in town. Roll out the same on site through issuance of rig standing instructions and supervising their proper implementation.
o Ensure Bridging document and specifically Well Control procedures enforced and respected on the rig
o Accomplishment of the operations, as per Company Rules and HSE requirements.
o Personally supervise delicate or risky operations, communicate to DCSI as a part of Chain of Command as a part of daily routine and in case of emergency o Coordinate logistics with the DCSI depending on rig capability, vessel constraints and planning of next operations to ensure continuous optimized operations.
o Optimize rig equipment and processes in close cooperation with contractors and the TEEP Suriname operational office team.
o Contribute to reinforce the application of best working practices in order to:
▪ Perform the work in safe conditions
▪ Prevent major accidents (blow out, spills, etc)
▪ Prevent any damage to TotalEnergies assets
▪ Minimize Non-Productive Time and enhance operational performances
o Review reports on daily basis o Liaise with Logistics to ensure equipment readiness o Participate in lessons learnt and performance optimization process
➢ Management and interfaces
o Leader of the Offshore Team organization: manage, motivate, and help developing the offshore personnel
o Mentor DCSV and DCASV when these positions are present onboard the rig
➢ HSE
o As RSES on the rig unit, empowered to ensure that Company and Contractor HSE standards are fully respected and known by all.
o Actively participate in Company and Contractor safety awareness and initiative schemes
o Supervising the reporting on incidents, accidents, anomalies and report immediately to the DCSI
o In the course of the Emergency Response is the On the scene Commander
➢ Qualifications/Experience required
o Technician or Engineering profile (Master’s degree of Engineering or equivalent), with more than 5 years of experience in operational environment in drilling, experience as DCSSV
o Good knowledge of offshore and specifically deepwater environment
o Good knowledge of TotalEnergies referential, processes and methods
